ENCOURAGE TRANSIT USE THROUGH

YOUTH PASSES
& PROGRAMS

In 2023, youth customers ages 6-19 are eligible for a Youth fare, which provides a 70% discount. Children 5 and younger ride free with a fare-paying adult.

In addition, students attending one of more than 10 local post-secondary institutions receive unlimited rides on bus and rail for a nominal cost included in their tuition and fees through CollegePass.

 

Under the new fare structure, new policies and passes encourage youth transit use, including:

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

RTD will take steps to ensure that communication with members of the public with disabilities is effective throughout the study. Persons who require materials in alternative formats, need sign language interpretation, or require other communication consideration for participation, please contact RTD’s ADA Manager at Gabe.Christie@rtd-denver.com. Please provide three business days notice for services to be arranged.

ABOUT THE FARE STUDY

RTD has launched a Systemwide Fare Study and Equity Analysis to reexamine the RTD fare system holistically, taking into consideration equity, affordability and simplicity.
